Puppy Kindergarten (for puppies 8-20 wks. of age)
Wed. November 6 - 27, 2024, 6:30 p.m.

Start your puppy off right by socializing him/her to other people and their puppies. Included will be basic manners practice and behavior help - loose leash walking, chewing, housebreaking, nipping plus confidence building exercises. This class helps you start building communication with your puppy. 4 weeks, $125

Basic Obedience (for dogs over 20 weeks of age)
Tues. November 5 - December 10, 2024, 6:30 p.m.

This class gives you all the tools to create a good pet. You will learn how to teach your dog to focus, sit, down, stand, stay, come, leave it, greet politely, leash manners and settle on a mat. 6 weeks, $180

TEAM Sports Foundation (for dogs who have been through a Basic Obedience class)

Train an excellent set of foundation skills for any dog sport or competition venue. Engagement and focus, heeling, recalls, fronts, distance work, targeting, jumping, retrieving and impulse control are presented in manageable steps, keeping it fun for the dog and the handler! This course is designed to cover the exercises in Denise Fenzi's TEAM Level 1 video competition title.

Level 1 - Intro to K9 Nose Work©

Want to keep working with your pal and have a blast? This class is designed to develop your dog's natural scenting ability by unlocking the seeking system to give your dog mental and physical exercise. Any non-aggressive dog and any handler can participate in this sport regardless of training level or handicap. You and your dog will become more self-confident, burn lots of physical and mental energy, and you will marvel at their working style! Your dog must be able to crate quietly while others work. Level 2 - Intro to K9 Nose Work©

Now that your dog has learned "the game" continue to let him hone his hunting skills and work on your leash handling skills. Exterior and Vehicle searches are started. Your dog must be able to be crated while others work. 6 weeks, $180

Level 3 - Intro to Odor
Add Birch to the game and continue to learn core skills and leash handling.

Level 4 - Continuing (on-going)
Mondays, 11:00 - 12:00 noon
Fridays, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Saturdays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Sundays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
Sundays, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

This class is for those who have completed Levels 1-3 and their dog is working independently and sourcing odor. Anise and Clove are added target odors. Odor Recognition Test and NW1 competition prep is covered. 6 weeks, $180

Level 5 - Competition Prep (on-going)
Fridays, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Saturdays, 11:00 - 12:00 noon

NW2, NW3 and Elite competition prep will be addressed. Classes will go on the road from time to time to different locations to get dogs used to working in novel environments. 6 weeks, $180



CGC (Canine Good Citizen) - 6 weeks, $180

This class is in preparation for AKC's CGC certificate whose purpose is to promote responsible dog ownership. Each part of the test will be practiced separately to learn the skills necessary to work as a team. Testing available for those who wish to earn the certificate. Email if interested.
